Family owned & operated, The Red Hen is the newest breakfast location to open in the Alpharetta community. With fresh food, great service and a warm, friendly atmosphere, The Red Hen is the "go-to" location for breakfast in the area.
Operating in an old seafood restaurant, David Rutledge, Jason Meindhart and their wives, Gayle and Brandy, stripped and refreshed the old nautical location, but kept the beautiful 90 gallon salt water tank and stocked it with new, kid friendly fish.
You'll be welcomed by the bright sun mural painted on the wall by Gayle, and find dozens of drawings hung by children who have come in and enjoyed their breakfast – especially the farm animal-shaped waffles and sugar-dusted french toast.
You will always find either David or Jason there talking with customers and fussing over the kids. Local businesses have discovered The Red Hen's great food and fast door-to-door delivery for catering their meetings and events.
