Chef Jason Meinhardt has been in the restaurant industry for 12 years and during that time has worked for and with some of Atlanta's premiere chefs (Chris and Michelle Sedgwick, Paul Albrecht, Delia Champion, etc.). Chef Meinhardt's love for the culinary arts came from countless hours in the kitchen with his late grandmother and other family members who, at an early age, shared with him their own love for the kitchen. While developing his culinary skills, Jason worked as a professional actor for over 10 years in the New York and Atlanta area and continues to hold a deep passion for theater and acting. With the arrival of his beautiful daughter, Rena, Chef Meinhardt decided to turn his attention solely to the culinary arts and soon after arrived at The Flying Biscuit at Candler Park where he met his business partner, David. Not soon after his start at the Biscuit, Chef Meinhardt started developing the menu for what is
now The Red Hen.
Chef Meinhardt currently lives in Historic Roswell with his wife, Brandy, his daughter Rena, 2 dogs, a cat, and a goldfish.
